Super Mario Kids Gaming Bedroom Rug
What sells Super Mario Kids Gaming Bedroom is not a marketing line — it is how it sits in a room.
Day-to-day
Picture Spotted gum floors and double-height living spaces with a lot of glazing — that is the kind of room this rug is at home in. For shaggy polyester piles, vacuum on a higher setting (or with the beater bar off) and shake the rug out periodically. Once you have it down, the rug is one of the lowest-maintenance pieces of furniture you will ever buy.
On the design
Looked at honestly, the design is doing two things. The colour story sits on the warm side of neutral, which makes it easy to layer with timber and linen. There is enough texture in the weave to keep the surface visually interesting without breaking the calm of the palette. From the kitchen looking through to the lounge, the rug reads as a single grounding plane rather than a competing pattern.
Built and finished
At a glance: Made in China. Chinese mills produce some of the most consistent machine-made rugs in the world, and this piece reflects that. Polyester yarns hold dye exceptionally well, which is why the colours on this piece look as rich as they do. At 6mm, this is a low, dense flatweave — easy to vacuum, easy to slide chairs across, and a sensible pick for a dining room. Selvedges are finished cleanly so the rug sits flush against itself without curling at the edges.
Picking the right size
A 200x290cm covers most three-seater living rooms; a 240x330cm suits the larger open-plan layouts that have become common in new Australian builds. Our Rug Size Guide shows you which fits.
We back this one for the buyer who would rather move on with the rest of the renovation than keep deliberating.
Common questions
Will the pattern repeat be obvious?
Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.
How thick is the rug overall?
The total thickness includes the pile plus the backing — for most of our rugs, that ends up somewhere between 8mm and 30mm depending on the pile listed. If you need a precise figure for a door clearance, message us and we'll measure.
Will it sit flat once unrolled?
Almost always within 24–48 hours. If you see any waves from the rolled packaging, lay the rug pile-up in the room and let it relax overnight — gravity does the rest. For stubborn corners, rolling the rug briefly in the opposite direction usually does it.
Can I return it if it isn't right?
Yes — we offer a clear returns window because we know a rug needs to be seen in the actual room. The details are on our returns page, and we'll talk you through it if anything is unclear.
Does this rug ship rolled or folded?
Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.
