Made in Turkey. We've worked with Turkish mills for decades — the country's heritage in rugs runs deep, and the power-loom programmes are some of the most consistent in the world. Polypropylene fibre handles wine, juice, and muddy paws with a damp cloth and a bit of patience — which is why we recommend it to most growing families. Selvedges are finished cleanly so the rug sits flush against itself without curling at the edges.

Does it work with a robot vacuum?
Yes for low and medium piles. For the deeper shaggies in our range, a robot vacuum will struggle a bit — you'll get better results with a regular upright on a higher setting.
Will it sit flat once unrolled?
Almost always within 24–48 hours. If you see any waves from the rolled packaging, lay the rug pile-up in the room and let it relax overnight — gravity does the rest. For stubborn corners, rolling the rug briefly in the opposite direction usually does it.
Will it cope with kids and pets?
Yes, comfortably. Synthetic pile is stain-resistant, doesn't snag under claws, and lifts spills cleanly. It's the construction we recommend most to growing families.
Is the back of the rug latex-coated?
The backing is a standard textile finish — it sits flat on the floor and won't mark timber boards. For hard floors, we'd still recommend a rug pad to keep it from sliding.
Does the rug have a strong smell when it arrives?
There may be a faint factory or packaging smell on opening — it airs out within a day or two. Lay the rug out, open the windows, and it will settle quickly.
