The Prisma range is a vibrant, yet subtle blend of infused emerald and marmalade swirls on a canvas of neutral grey and off white. Woven with longevity in mind, this rug will stand the test of time. A modern floor covering that will make a statement that flows, stylishly with any decor elements and will enhance even the dullest room. If you’re looking to add a touch of luxury and class to your home, look no further.

There is a reason Prisma Marmalade sits in our current range — it does the quiet work that a good rug should.

What's under the surface

Underneath the look, Belgian Wilton-woven. Belgium's Wilton looms are some of the most exacting in the world — the colour separation and pattern definition you get from them is hard to match elsewhere. Density and twist are what separate a good polypropylene rug from a poor one — both have been done properly here. The 14mm pile gives this rug genuine softness underfoot — particularly good for a bedroom or a sitting room you actually want to sit on the floor in. The result is a rug that feels considered without crossing into precious territory.

Practical notes

Day to day, we see this style most often in a Fitzroy terrace where the rug is the warm element in an otherwise cool, industrial room. Care for this one as you would a hard floor — sweep or vacuum regularly and address spills when they happen. The fibre does the rest. Rolling vacuum, ride-on toys, the cat — none of it bothers the surface in any way you will notice.

On the design

The colour story matters here. There's a reason grey has been the default neutral of the last decade — it forgives, it cools, and it lets coloured furniture and art read clearly above it. Up close, the construction details emerge; from across the room, the rug reads as a single restrained colour field. Layered over a hard floor, it gives a room the visual weight it usually needs at floor level.

Which size?

If you are between sizes, we almost always recommend sizing up. Our Rug Size Guide has the room-by-room measurements we use ourselves.

We sell a lot of Prisma Marmalade, and the reason is straightforward — it does the work without making a fuss.

Common questions

Does it work with a robot vacuum?

Yes for low and medium piles. For the deeper shaggies in our range, a robot vacuum will struggle a bit — you'll get better results with a regular upright on a higher setting.

How thick is the rug overall?

The total thickness includes the pile plus the backing — for most of our rugs, that ends up somewhere between 8mm and 30mm depending on the pile listed. If you need a precise figure for a door clearance, message us and we'll measure.

Can I return it if it isn't right?

Yes — we offer a clear returns window because we know a rug needs to be seen in the actual room. The details are on our returns page, and we'll talk you through it if anything is unclear.

Will the pattern repeat be obvious?

Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.

Is the colour the same on both sides?

No — the pile side is the finished face. The reverse shows the construction and is usually a slightly different colour because the dye penetrates the surface rather than the entire fibre.
