Natural and warm, the Eden Silk Touch Natural Beige runner brings a softness to a hallway that more neutral greys sometimes miss. The beige tone catches warm light from lamps and windows, giving the corridor a welcoming quality that's immediately noticeable. The silky polyester surface and understated pattern keep it classic and compatible with almost any interior direction.

Spend a minute with Eden Silk Touch Natural Beige Hallway Runner and you start to understand why we kept it through the last range review.

What's under the surface

The short version: From Turkey's long power-loom tradition. Turkey remains the place where heritage design and modern weaving meet most comfortably — you get the look of a hand-knotted rug at a fraction of the cost. We like polyester for shaggies and luxe-pile pieces because it takes deep colour beautifully and stays soft over years of use. Edges are bound and finished cleanly so they sit flat and stay flat.

Living with it

In any room with white-washed timber, this rug adds the visual weight the floor needs to feel finished. Polyester takes well to spot-cleaning — a damp cloth, cool water, and mild detergent will handle most everyday spills. Vacuum once a week, spot-treat the inevitable accidents, and the rug does not ask for anything else.

About the look

Looked at honestly, the design is doing two things. There's a reason grey has been the default neutral of the last decade — it forgives, it cools, and it lets coloured furniture and art read clearly above it. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so it has real depth in the surface. Photographs flatten the surface; in person, the weave reads with more dimension than any catalogue image can convey.

Which size?

Runners are about scale, not just length — leave at least 10cm of floor visible on each side of the runner so the hallway doesn't feel boxed in. Our Rug Size Guide has the proportions we recommend.

This is a rug we recommend without hedging. It does what it should.

Things customers ask

Can I use this with underfloor heating?

Yes — the pile is not so dense that it traps heat, and the backing handles the moderate temperatures typical of residential underfloor systems.

Does the rug have a strong smell when it arrives?

There may be a faint factory or packaging smell on opening — it airs out within a day or two. Lay the rug out, open the windows, and it will settle quickly.

Does it work with a robot vacuum?

Yes for low and medium piles. For the deeper shaggies in our range, a robot vacuum will struggle a bit — you'll get better results with a regular upright on a higher setting.

Will the pattern repeat be obvious?

Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.

How do I get rid of a stain?

Blot — never rub. Cool water and a small amount of mild detergent on a clean cloth handles most spills. Work from the outside of the stain in. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
