Introducing August, our latest rug collection that combines the charm of hand-made boho rugs with the convenience of modern manufacturing. These machine-made rugs in Turkey mimic the hand-made look of boho rugs, featuring a unique texture that is both trendy and timeless.

Colour and pattern
The colour story matters here. Cream-based rugs sit comfortably in almost any palette — they brighten without bleaching the room out. Up close you can see how the dye sits in the fibre — saturated, even, with none of the patchiness of a cheaper construction. From the kitchen looking through to the lounge, the rug reads as a single grounding plane rather than a competing pattern.
How it's made
In one line: Made in Turkey. We've worked with Turkish mills for decades — the country's heritage in rugs runs deep, and the power-loom programmes are some of the most consistent in the world. The fibre is synthetic, but the modern poly yarns we work with feel close to soft wool underfoot and clean up far more easily. At 20mm of pile, this is a true sink-your-feet-in shaggy. Build quality holds up to close inspection — there are no shortcuts in the weave or the finish.
Practical notes
In practice, it pairs especially well with warm timber floors and raw plaster finishes. Spot-clean with mild detergent and cool water. Avoid harsh chemicals — they're not needed and can damage the dye. Pet-friendly in the most useful sense: claws won't catch the way they do on a looped pile, and the surface vacuums cleanly. We sell more of this style to families with school-age children than to any other group, which says something about how it lives.
On sizing
For hallways and galley kitchens, the 80x300cm length we run here is the most commonly bought — our Rug Size Guide walks through how to pick the right length for your space.

Things customers ask
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
Does this rug ship rolled or folded?
Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.
Will the pattern repeat be obvious?
Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.
Will this rug shed?
No, not in the meaningful sense. Synthetic pile is heat-set rather than spun from short staple fibres, so you may see a small amount of fibre in the first week and very little after that.
Is the colour the same on both sides?
No — the pile side is the finished face. The reverse shows the construction and is usually a slightly different colour because the dye penetrates the surface rather than the entire fibre.
