Introducing the Imola Collection – a culmination of unrivaled quality that harmoniously amalgamates the allure of fine heat-set and shrink polyester yarns. These distinctive components intertwine to craft an array of textures that truly define the distinctive essence of this collection. With a palette featuring hues of blues and greys, complemented by a soft pile, these rugs are versatile and well-suited for various areas and settings.
Imola Coraline is the answer for the customer who wants a rug that looks at home from day one.
Living with it
This is the kind of piece that works in family rooms that get hammered by feet, paws, and the occasional spilled drink. For shaggy polyester piles, vacuum on a higher setting (or with the beater bar off) and shake the rug out periodically. If you have a Roomba or similar, the pile here is short enough that it will get a proper clean without snagging.
Colour and pattern
Worth a moment on the look of it. A grey-toned rug is the easiest way to anchor a room without committing to a strong palette. There is enough texture in the weave to keep the surface visually interesting without breaking the calm of the palette. It plays nicely with a low timber coffee table, a linen sofa, and the kind of considered clutter most lived-in rooms accumulate.
About the make
Made in Egypt. Egyptian flatweaves are built for hose-down ease — the construction is dense, the fibres are stabilised, and the result handles a wet patio with no fuss. Polyester pile carries a soft, slightly silken hand-feel — it's a step up in plushness from polypropylene without losing the easy-care benefit. The pile height is 15mm — substantial enough to feel luxurious without crossing into shaggy territory. Pile twist and density together are what give this piece the longevity that the warranty implies.
Sizing
We carry this in a few sizes — a 160x230cm sits well under a coffee table, a 200x290cm anchors a standard three-piece lounge, and the 240x330cm extends well past a queen bed. See our Rug Size Guide for the full layout breakdown.
If the rest of your room is settled, Imola Coraline will not unsettle it.
FAQs
Can I cut the rug to size?
We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.
Can I use this with underfloor heating?
Yes — the pile is not so dense that it traps heat, and the backing handles the moderate temperatures typical of residential underfloor systems.
Do you offer samples?
We don't typically send physical samples — most of our customers find the photos and our written notes get them close enough. If you want extra photos in natural light, message us and we'll send them through.
Can I return it if it isn't right?
Yes — we offer a clear returns window because we know a rug needs to be seen in the actual room. The details are on our returns page, and we'll talk you through it if anything is unclear.
Will the pattern repeat be obvious?
Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.
