How it looks

Stand a metre back and the pattern recedes into texture — that quality is why the rug reads calm rather than busy. It is the kind of surface that lets the rest of your room read clearly without competing.
Living with it
It is a comfortable fit in the master bedroom of a coastal NSW home, where the rug is the first thing your feet touch in the morning — exactly the kind of space most of our customers are decorating. Polyester takes well to spot-cleaning — a damp cloth, cool water, and mild detergent will handle most everyday spills. Once you have it down, the rug is one of the lowest-maintenance pieces of furniture you will ever buy.
Built and finished
Flatwoven in Egypt. Egyptian flatweaves are built for hose-down ease — the construction is dense, the fibres are stabilised, and the result handles a wet patio with no fuss. We like polyester for shaggies and luxe-pile pieces because it takes deep colour beautifully and stays soft over years of use. The 15mm pile gives this rug genuine softness underfoot — particularly good for a bedroom or a sitting room you actually want to sit on the floor in. The construction is built to take the daily compression of foot traffic without flattening through the centre.

FAQs
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
Is the colour the same on both sides?
No — the pile side is the finished face. The reverse shows the construction and is usually a slightly different colour because the dye penetrates the surface rather than the entire fibre.
Can I put a rug pad underneath?
Yes, and we'd recommend it on hard floors. A pad keeps the rug from slipping, adds a little extra softness underfoot, and helps the pile wear evenly over time.
Will the pattern repeat be obvious?
Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.
Can I cut the rug to size?
We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.
