About the make
Produced in Turkey. Turkey has been the centre of rug-making for centuries, and the power-loom tradition that came out of Anatolia in the late 20th century is what makes a piece like this possible at a sensible price. What polypropylene gives up in heritage feel it more than makes back in colourfastness and easy upkeep. The pile is 11mm, which is what we'd call a true everyday pile — the kind of weight you want under a coffee table or a dining setting. The construction is built to take the daily compression of foot traffic without flattening through the centre.
On the design
Grey rugs sit quietly in a room and let the rest of the space do the talking — it's why they outsell almost everything else we carry. Yes, comfortably. Synthetic pile is stain-resistant, doesn't snag under claws, and lifts spills cleanly. It's the construction we recommend most to growing families.
Will it sit flat once unrolled?
Almost always within 24–48 hours. If you see any waves from the rolled packaging, lay the rug pile-up in the room and let it relax overnight — gravity does the rest. For stubborn corners, rolling the rug briefly in the opposite direction usually does it.
Can I put a rug pad underneath?
Yes, and we'd recommend it on hard floors. A pad keeps the rug from slipping, adds a little extra softness underfoot, and helps the pile wear evenly over time.
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
Will the colour look the same as the website photo?
Very close, but never identical — every screen renders colour slightly differently, and the rug itself will read warmer or cooler depending on the light in your room. If you want certainty, message us and we'll send additional photos taken in natural light.
