The short version: Produced in Turkey. The Turkish weaving industry has refined power-loom production to a point where the result is genuinely close to the look of a traditionally woven rug. Synthetic fibre means hypoallergenic in the most useful sense — no lanolin, no animal dander, no shedding to speak of. The pile is 11mm, which is what we'd call a true everyday pile — the kind of weight you want under a coffee table or a dining setting. Run your hand across the surface and the pile feels even from corner to corner — that consistency is what separates a well-made rug from a budget one.
