A soft muted colour palette done well is one of the most effective things you can put in a living room or bedroom. The Eden Silk Touch Blue Cream rug takes a carefully restrained palette — soft blues, gentle creams — and elevates it with a silky sheen finish and a plush high-low pile that feels genuinely luxurious underfoot. The result is a room that feels considered, calm, and polished.
Some rugs need to be sold; Eden Silk Touch Blue Cream Modern sells itself once you see it in person.
Living with it
In practice, it earns its keep in any room that has dark hardwood floors as a starting point. For shaggy polyester piles, vacuum on a higher setting (or with the beater bar off) and shake the rug out periodically. Lay it once and forget it is there. That is the right frame of mind for a piece like this.
On the design
Worth a moment on the look of it. True white is a brave choice in a family home, but in the right room — a master bedroom, a low-traffic formal living space — nothing else has quite the same lift. Stand a metre back and the pattern recedes into texture — that quality is why the rug reads calm rather than busy. Up close, you can see how the colour shifts slightly across the pile — that subtle variation is what stops the surface looking printed.
What's under the surface
Produced in Turkey. The Turkish weaving industry has refined power-loom production to a point where the result is genuinely close to the look of a traditionally woven rug. Polyester pile carries a soft, slightly silken hand-feel — it's a step up in plushness from polypropylene without losing the easy-care benefit. Look at the underside and you can see how dense the weave actually is — it is the part of the rug that does the real work.

Common questions
Will it cope with kids and pets?
Yes, comfortably. Synthetic pile is stain-resistant, doesn't snag under claws, and lifts spills cleanly. It's the construction we recommend most to growing families.
Can I use this with underfloor heating?
Yes — the pile is not so dense that it traps heat, and the backing handles the moderate temperatures typical of residential underfloor systems.
How do I get rid of a stain?
Blot — never rub. Cool water and a small amount of mild detergent on a clean cloth handles most spills. Work from the outside of the stain in. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
Is the back of the rug latex-coated?
The backing is a standard textile finish — it sits flat on the floor and won't mark timber boards. For hard floors, we'd still recommend a rug pad to keep it from sliding.
Does this rug ship rolled or folded?
Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.
