In one line: Hand-woven in India. Indian artisans bring a level of finish to a hand-woven rug that you only get from generations of practice. Wool is the original rug fibre for a reason — it's naturally stain-resistant, it ages gracefully, and it has a warmth underfoot that no synthetic quite replicates. A 10mm pile feels soft on bare feet but doesn't trap dust the way a longer pile can. The construction is built to take the daily compression of foot traffic without flattening through the centre.

Can I put a rug pad underneath?
Yes, and we'd recommend it on hard floors. A pad keeps the rug from slipping, adds a little extra softness underfoot, and helps the pile wear evenly over time.
Can I steam clean this rug?
We don't recommend steam cleaning wool — professional dry cleaning is the safer path.
Can I cut the rug to size?
We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.
Can I return it if it isn't right?

Will the colour look the same as the website photo?
Very close, but never identical — every screen renders colour slightly differently, and the rug itself will read warmer or cooler depending on the light in your room. If you want certainty, message us and we'll send additional photos taken in natural light.
