Our new exclusive Dahlia range are both focused on Contemporary & Modern tailored homes. Design and colours are both muted and soft, so if you are looking to give a hint of texture or a dash of colour, this could be just the thing to bring everything together.
Dahlia White Blue Runner is one of those rugs where the photo doesn't quite do justice to how it reads in person.
About the make
Underneath the look, Turkish-made. The Turkish weaving industry has refined power-loom production to a point where the result is genuinely close to the look of a traditionally woven rug. Polypropylene does not hold odour the way wool can, which matters in a home with pets or open-plan cooking. The 18mm pile gives this rug genuine softness underfoot — particularly good for a bedroom or a sitting room you actually want to sit on the floor in. Density is what matters with a piece like this — it is what gives the rug its longevity.
How it looks
Looked at honestly, the design is doing two things. Beige is the most forgiving floor colour we carry — it hides dust, dog hair, and the small disasters of daily life better than almost any other shade. The pattern is broken just enough at the surface to keep the visual rhythm interesting without ever feeling busy. Up close, you can see how the colour shifts slightly across the pile — that subtle variation is what stops the surface looking printed.
Living with it
In a typical Australian living room — Tasmanian oak floorboards, soft Dulux Whisper White interiors — it sits comfortably without competing for attention. A handheld vacuum and a damp cloth handle ninety percent of what you will need to do to keep this rug looking right. Rolling vacuum, ride-on toys, the cat — none of it bothers the surface in any way you will notice.
Picking the right size
For hallways and galley kitchens, the 80x300cm length we run here is the most commonly bought — our Rug Size Guide walks through how to pick the right length for your space.
Dahlia White Blue Runner is the kind of buy you make once, lay down, and stop thinking about.
Questions we get asked
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
Can I put a rug pad underneath?
Yes, and we'd recommend it on hard floors. A pad keeps the rug from slipping, adds a little extra softness underfoot, and helps the pile wear evenly over time.
Will it cope with kids and pets?
Yes, comfortably. Synthetic pile is stain-resistant, doesn't snag under claws, and lifts spills cleanly. It's the construction we recommend most to growing families.
Does this rug ship rolled or folded?
Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.
Do you offer samples?
We don't typically send physical samples — most of our customers find the photos and our written notes get them close enough. If you want extra photos in natural light, message us and we'll send them through.
