Title

Our new exclusive Dahlia range are both focused on Contemporary & Modern tailored homes. Design and colours are both muted and soft, so if you are looking to give a hint of texture or a dash of colour, this could be just the thing to bring everything together.

There is nothing showy about Dahlia Black White, and that is precisely the point.

Colour and pattern

What is happening at the surface is straightforward. A grey-toned rug is the easiest way to anchor a room without committing to a strong palette. Up close, the construction details emerge; from across the room, the rug reads as a single restrained colour field. We have laid this in rooms with bold artwork above and minimal furniture, and it sits comfortably in both.

What's under the surface

The short version: From Turkey's long power-loom tradition. We've worked with Turkish mills for decades — the country's heritage in rugs runs deep, and the power-loom programmes are some of the most consistent in the world. Polypropylene fibre handles wine, juice, and muddy paws with a damp cloth and a bit of patience — which is why we recommend it to most growing families. The pile height is 18mm — substantial enough to feel luxurious without crossing into shaggy territory. Build quality holds up to close inspection — there are no shortcuts in the weave or the finish.

Which size?

We carry this in a few sizes — a 160x230cm sits well under a coffee table, a 200x290cm anchors a standard three-piece lounge, and the 240x330cm extends well past a queen bed. See our Rug Size Guide for the full layout breakdown.

Living with it

In practice, it is a comfortable fit under a dining table on tiled or concrete floors where some softness is needed underfoot — exactly the kind of space most of our customers are decorating. Avoid steam, avoid bleach, avoid solvent cleaners. Cool water and mild detergent is the protocol our family uses on every poly rug we own. Lay it once and forget it is there. That is the right frame of mind for a piece like this.

A confident, low-key choice — that is the short version of why we recommend Dahlia Black White.

Questions we get asked

Can I return it if it isn't right?

Yes — we offer a clear returns window because we know a rug needs to be seen in the actual room. The details are on our returns page, and we'll talk you through it if anything is unclear.

Is the colour the same on both sides?

No — the pile side is the finished face. The reverse shows the construction and is usually a slightly different colour because the dye penetrates the surface rather than the entire fibre.

Does this rug ship rolled or folded?

Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.

Is the back of the rug latex-coated?

The backing is a standard textile finish — it sits flat on the floor and won't mark timber boards. For hard floors, we'd still recommend a rug pad to keep it from sliding.

Can I cut the rug to size?

We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.
