Spectacular, geometrical design, evocative of modern art, give this Tango range a sense of graceful drama. Elegant lines in pleasing shades of grey and cream balance a room’s decor to perfection, while the plush shaggy pile creates a sense of cozy, extravagant opulence. Stylishly contemporary, this rug is an excellent addition to bedrooms or living rooms and its hassle-free maintenance will gladden the heart of any homemaker.
Walk into a finished room with Tango Latte laid in it and the rug is the last thing you notice, in the best possible way.
On the design
Beige is the most forgiving floor colour we carry — it hides dust, dog hair, and the small disasters of daily life better than almost any other shade. The pattern is broken just enough at the surface to keep the visual rhythm interesting without ever feeling busy. Stand in the doorway and the rug barely registers; sit on the floor and the texture and pile depth come forward.
Construction
Underneath the look, made in Belgium on Wilton looms. Belgium's Wilton looms are some of the most exacting in the world — the colour separation and pattern definition you get from them is hard to match elsewhere. The case for polypropylene in a family room is straightforward: it is cheaper to replace than upholstery and tougher to ruin than wool. A 19mm pile reads as genuinely luxurious — we recommend it for bedrooms and formal lounges rather than high-traffic dining areas. Edges are bound and finished cleanly so they sit flat and stay flat.
Practical notes
In practice, it is a comfortable fit in a renovated 1920s terrace in Paddington where the bones of the room are doing the heavy lifting — exactly the kind of space most of our customers are decorating. Care for this one as you would a hard floor — sweep or vacuum regularly and address spills when they happen. The fibre does the rest. We have laid one of these under our own dining table for several years; it still reads as new.

FAQs
Does the rug have a strong smell when it arrives?
There may be a faint factory or packaging smell on opening — it airs out within a day or two. Lay the rug out, open the windows, and it will settle quickly.
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
How do I get rid of a stain?
Blot — never rub. Cool water and a small amount of mild detergent on a clean cloth handles most spills. Work from the outside of the stain in. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
Can I return it if it isn't right?
Yes — we offer a clear returns window because we know a rug needs to be seen in the actual room. The details are on our returns page, and we'll talk you through it if anything is unclear.
Will the rug fade in direct sun?
Some fade is possible if a rug sits in direct, unfiltered sun day after day — that's true of any rug. The dyes used here are UV-stabilised and hold up well to the conditions in most Australian rooms.
