Variegated textures in our Decora collection lend instant rustic appeal to interior or even exterior living areas. These non-shedding, Polypropylene rugs are as easy on the eye as they are to clean. Durable enough for high traffic areas, their 9mm pile also makes them beautiful enough for showcased areas in your home. Made to exacting standards, in Belgium, Decora rugs display a contemporary vibe with their natural cream and grey shading making them the ideal floor covering to compliment and accentuate your lifestyle.
Decora Bella is one of those rugs where the photo doesn't quite do justice to how it reads in person.
What's under the surface
Underneath the look, Belgian-made with European precision. The Wilton tradition in Belgium produces rugs with extremely fine pattern detail — the kind of edge clarity that holds up under close inspection. Lightweight, water-resistant, mould-resistant, and quietly comfortable underfoot — polypropylene is the rug fibre that does the most with the least. At 9mm, this is a sensible everyday pile — substantial without being shaggy, easy to keep clean. Build quality holds up to close inspection — there are no shortcuts in the weave or the finish.
Colour and pattern
Looked at honestly, the design is doing two things. The silver tone here carries a slight cool shimmer — useful in rooms where you want a modern, pulled-together look without going stark. The design holds its proportions at every size we run — the medium and large sizes do not look like enlarged versions of the smaller piece. It plays nicely with a low timber coffee table, a linen sofa, and the kind of considered clutter most lived-in rooms accumulate.
Day-to-day
Among the rooms our customers describe to us, in coastal rooms with linen sofas, rattan accents, and a lot of natural light is the most common context for a piece like this. Vacuum, blot, and live with it. That is genuinely the entire maintenance instruction for a rug like this. We have laid one of these under our own dining table for several years; it still reads as new.
Sizing
Have a tape measure handy before you commit — our Rug Size Guide has the layouts most of our customers end up choosing.
Worth the cost of admission for any room that needs a quiet, well-made centre point.
FAQs
Will this rug shed?
No, not in the meaningful sense. Synthetic pile is heat-set rather than spun from short staple fibres, so you may see a small amount of fibre in the first week and very little after that.
Do you offer samples?
We don't typically send physical samples — most of our customers find the photos and our written notes get them close enough. If you want extra photos in natural light, message us and we'll send them through.
How thick is the rug overall?
The total thickness includes the pile plus the backing — for most of our rugs, that ends up somewhere between 8mm and 30mm depending on the pile listed. If you need a precise figure for a door clearance, message us and we'll measure.
Does the rug have a strong smell when it arrives?
There may be a faint factory or packaging smell on opening — it airs out within a day or two. Lay the rug out, open the windows, and it will settle quickly.
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
