Bring a touch of traditional elegance to your home with this stunning rug. Made in Turkey, this rug features a muted pattern in soft pink tones that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The soft touch pile feels luxurious underfoot, while the small fringe adds a charming touch of texture.

We picked Crystal Savannah Traditional Hallway Runner for the range because it sits comfortably in the kind of homes most of our customers actually live in.

On the design

The colour story matters here. There's a reason grey has been the default neutral of the last decade — it forgives, it cools, and it lets coloured furniture and art read clearly above it. The pattern carries the lineage of traditional design without committing to the full formal palette of an antique piece. We have laid this in rooms with bold artwork above and minimal furniture, and it sits comfortably in both.

Construction

The short version: Made in Turkey. We've worked with Turkish mills for decades — the country's heritage in rugs runs deep, and the power-loom programmes are some of the most consistent in the world. Synthetic fibre means hypoallergenic in the most useful sense — no lanolin, no animal dander, no shedding to speak of. The 13mm pile gives this rug genuine softness underfoot — particularly good for a bedroom or a sitting room you actually want to sit on the floor in. The construction is built to take the daily compression of foot traffic without flattening through the centre.

Which size?

A runner needs to leave a hand's-width of floor visible at each end of the hallway — see our Rug Size Guide for the room-by-room guidance.

How it handles real life

It is a comfortable fit in a Melbourne apartment that needs a piece to anchor a polished concrete floor — exactly the kind of space most of our customers are decorating. If a spill dries before you get to it, dampen the area with cool water, work the cloth from the outside in, and the dried residue lifts back out. It holds its shape under a heavy sofa and shrugs off the small dents that lighter constructions can't recover from.

If your existing furniture has earned its place, Crystal Savannah Traditional Hallway Runner will sit comfortably underneath it.

Common questions

Will this rug shed?

No, not in the meaningful sense. Synthetic pile is heat-set rather than spun from short staple fibres, so you may see a small amount of fibre in the first week and very little after that.

Will it cope with kids and pets?

Yes, comfortably. Synthetic pile is stain-resistant, doesn't snag under claws, and lifts spills cleanly. It's the construction we recommend most to growing families.

Is the colour the same on both sides?

No — the pile side is the finished face. The reverse shows the construction and is usually a slightly different colour because the dye penetrates the surface rather than the entire fibre.

How thick is the rug overall?

The total thickness includes the pile plus the backing — for most of our rugs, that ends up somewhere between 8mm and 30mm depending on the pile listed. If you need a precise figure for a door clearance, message us and we'll measure.

How do I get rid of a stain?

Blot — never rub. Cool water and a small amount of mild detergent on a clean cloth handles most spills. Work from the outside of the stain in. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
