Cappadocia Floral Green is for the customer who wants the result, not the production story.

On colour

Cream is the warmest of the neutrals — it lifts a room without going stark white, and it works beautifully with timber, brass, and linen. The pattern carries the lineage of traditional design without committing to the full formal palette of an antique piece. Layered with a leather chair, a brass floor lamp, and a stack of books, the rug holds its end of the conversation without forcing it.

Practical notes

In practice, it is a comfortable fit in a Hobart sandstone home with stone floors that benefit from the weight of a substantial rug — exactly the kind of space most of our customers are decorating. Vacuum on a medium setting weekly, and once a month go over the rug end-to-end with the suction set higher to lift trapped dust from the base. Vacuum once a week, spot-treat the inevitable accidents, and the rug does not ask for anything else.

What's under the surface

The short version: Made in Turkey. Turkey has been the centre of rug-making for centuries, and the power-loom tradition that came out of Anatolia in the late 20th century is what makes a piece like this possible at a sensible price. The fibre is synthetic, but the modern poly yarns we work with feel close to soft wool underfoot and clean up far more easily. Construction-wise, this is built to look the same six months in as the day it arrived.

Sizing

A 200x290cm covers most three-seater living rooms; a 240x330cm suits the larger open-plan layouts that have become common in new Australian builds. Our Rug Size Guide shows you which fits.

If you have been circling rugs for weeks, Cappadocia Floral Green is a sensible place to stop.

Questions we get asked

Will the colour look the same as the website photo?

Very close, but never identical — every screen renders colour slightly differently, and the rug itself will read warmer or cooler depending on the light in your room. If you want certainty, message us and we'll send additional photos taken in natural light.

Does it work with a robot vacuum?

Yes for low and medium piles. For the deeper shaggies in our range, a robot vacuum will struggle a bit — you'll get better results with a regular upright on a higher setting.

Can I steam clean this rug?

Light steam is fine for synthetic pile. Avoid prolonged direct heat in one spot, and let the rug dry completely before walking on it.

How long does delivery take to my address?

Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.

Will the pattern repeat be obvious?

Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.
