On the design
Looked at honestly, the design is doing two things. We sell more cream rugs than any other colour. They suit the way most Australians live: warm-neutral walls, pale timbers, lots of natural light. The medallion pattern at the centre is a clear nod to traditional rug-weaving — softened here so it reads quietly rather than ornate. It is the kind of surface that lets the rest of your room read clearly without competing.
Day-to-day
In a real Australian room, this style sits well over polished concrete floors, particularly when the rest of the room runs to high white walls with skirting in cream. Wipe spills with a damp cloth, vacuum on a regular setting, and rotate the rug end-to-end once a year. Nothing else is required. Pet hair vacuums out cleanly — the fibre does not hold dander the way a natural pile sometimes can. Construction
Produced in Belgium. Belgium's Wilton looms are some of the most exacting in the world — the colour separation and pattern definition you get from them is hard to match elsewhere. The case for polypropylene in a family room is straightforward: it is cheaper to replace than upholstery and tougher to ruin than wool. The 15mm pile gives this rug genuine softness underfoot — particularly good for a bedroom or a sitting room you actually want to sit on the floor in. Selvedges are finished cleanly so the rug sits flush against itself without curling at the edges.

We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.
Can I use this with underfloor heating?
Yes — the pile is not so dense that it traps heat, and the backing handles the moderate temperatures typical of residential underfloor systems.
Does the rug have a strong smell when it arrives?
There may be a faint factory or packaging smell on opening — it airs out within a day or two. Lay the rug out, open the windows, and it will settle quickly.
Can I return it if it isn't right?

How do I get rid of a stain?
