At a glance: Anatolian-woven. Turkey has been the centre of rug-making for centuries, and the power-loom tradition that came out of Anatolia in the late 20th century is what makes a piece like this possible at a sensible price. If a rug is going to sit in a room where life actually happens, polypropylene is the fibre we trust to handle it. This is a 18mm pile — soft, considered, with enough density to spring back from foot traffic without flattening. The back of the rug shows the construction clearly — close, even stitching, no slack spots, no thin patches.
How it handles real life
In any room with engineered oak in a natural finish, this rug adds the visual weight the floor needs to feel finished. It will not stain the way a wool or cotton rug can — wine, juice, and pet accidents lift with a damp cloth if you get to them within a reasonable window. Drag a chair, drop a fork, knock over the wine — this construction tolerates all three.

What is happening at the surface is straightforward. A grey-toned rug is the easiest way to anchor a room without committing to a strong palette. Is the colour the same on both sides?
No — the pile side is the finished face. The reverse shows the construction and is usually a slightly different colour because the dye penetrates the surface rather than the entire fibre.
Can I put a rug pad underneath?
Yes, and we'd recommend it on hard floors. A pad keeps the rug from slipping, adds a little extra softness underfoot, and helps the pile wear evenly over time.
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
Does this rug ship rolled or folded?
Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.
How do I get rid of a stain?
Blot — never rub. Cool water and a small amount of mild detergent on a clean cloth handles most spills. Work from the outside of the stain in. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
