The fibre is synthetic, but the modern poly yarns we work with feel close to soft wool underfoot and clean up far more easily. A 8mm pile feels soft on bare feet but doesn't trap dust the way a longer pile can. The result is a rug that feels considered without crossing into precious territory.

Is the back of the rug latex-coated?
The backing is a standard textile finish — it sits flat on the floor and won't mark timber boards. For hard floors, we'd still recommend a rug pad to keep it from sliding.
Does this rug ship rolled or folded?
Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.
Can I cut the rug to size?
We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.
Will the rug fade in direct sun?
