Size

The subtle design of the Chester collection features an eclectic blend of dappled blue, green and grey shading, which is both cool and inviting. Although ornamental the marbled synthesis of color will never overpower complementary decor elements, making this range perfect for any living space. Great with wood, gorgeous over tiles, and available in a variety of sizes, the Chester rug is simple to clean and will remain attractive for years to come. FEATURES:

Among the Belgian pieces in our range, Chester Mint Green sits in the well-balanced middle — not the cheapest, not the most expensive, simply the most-bought.

Built and finished

Underneath the look, Belgian-made with European precision. Belgian mills are the benchmark for machine-made design definition. The look is crisper than what you'd get from most other origins. Heat-set polypropylene yarns hold their twist for years — that is what stops the pile flattening under a coffee table or sofa leg. A 9mm pile feels soft on bare feet but doesn't trap dust the way a longer pile can. Pile twist and density together are what give this piece the longevity that the warranty implies.

Day-to-day

In a real Australian room, it pairs especially well with limestone tiles and putty-painted walls. Avoid steam, avoid bleach, avoid solvent cleaners. Cool water and mild detergent is the protocol our family uses on every poly rug we own. Pet hair vacuums out cleanly — the fibre does not hold dander the way a natural pile sometimes can. Drag a chair, drop a fork, knock over the wine — this construction tolerates all three.

On colour

The colour story matters here. Green grounds a room with a sense of nature without the busyness of pattern. Up close, the construction details emerge; from across the room, the rug reads as a single restrained colour field. From the kitchen looking through to the lounge, the rug reads as a single grounding plane rather than a competing pattern.

Sizing

We carry this in a few sizes — a 160x230cm sits well under a coffee table, a 200x290cm anchors a standard three-piece lounge, and the 240x330cm extends well past a queen bed. See our Rug Size Guide for the full layout breakdown.

If you've been waiting for the rug that just feels right, this is one we'd line up first.

Common questions

Can I cut the rug to size?

We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.

How long does delivery take to my address?

Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.

Does it work with a robot vacuum?

Yes for low and medium piles. For the deeper shaggies in our range, a robot vacuum will struggle a bit — you'll get better results with a regular upright on a higher setting.

Will the pattern repeat be obvious?

Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.

Will the colour look the same as the website photo?

Very close, but never identical — every screen renders colour slightly differently, and the rug itself will read warmer or cooler depending on the light in your room. If you want certainty, message us and we'll send additional photos taken in natural light.
