Colour and pattern
Beige is the most forgiving floor colour we carry — it hides dust, dog hair, and the small disasters of daily life better than almost any other shade. The motif is restrained enough to sit under almost any furniture without competing. From the kitchen looking through to the lounge, the rug reads as a single grounding plane rather than a competing pattern.
Living with it
Built for indoor-outdoor use — the flat construction handles weather, the dye is UV-stabilised, and a hose-down sees off most of what an Australian summer can throw at it. The synthetic fibre tolerates household cleaners better than wool, but in our experience nothing more aggressive than cool soapy water is ever necessary. Drag a chair, drop a fork, knock over the wine — this construction tolerates all three.
Built and finished
The short version: Produced with day-to-day Australian homes in mind. We've curated this one for its honest, hard-wearing build rather than for any particular regional story. Modern polypropylene is a long way from the scratchy synthetic of twenty years ago. Soft underfoot, dense in the weave, and entirely washable. At 6mm the pile is short and tight — the structure underneath is doing most of the work, which is what gives a flatweave its longevity. The yarn count is dense enough that the pattern reads sharply without losing softness underfoot.

Can I steam clean this rug?
Yes, but a hose is usually faster and just as effective.
How thick is the rug overall?
The total thickness includes the pile plus the backing — for most of our rugs, that ends up somewhere between 8mm and 30mm depending on the pile listed. If you need a precise figure for a door clearance, message us and we'll measure.
Will the colour look the same as the website photo?
Very close, but never identical — every screen renders colour slightly differently, and the rug itself will read warmer or cooler depending on the light in your room. If you want certainty, message us and we'll send additional photos taken in natural light.
How long does delivery take to my address?
Most metro orders arrive within 3–7 business days. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer. We'll send tracking the moment your rug leaves the warehouse.
Can I cut the rug to size?
We don't recommend cutting a finished rug — the edges are bound and the construction relies on that binding to stay intact. If you need a custom size, message us and we'll see what's possible.
