Harmonia Beige Bravado earns its keep because it gets out of its own way.
How it handles real life
It pairs especially well with pale oak floorboards and limewashed walls. Polyester takes well to spot-cleaning — a damp cloth, cool water, and mild detergent will handle most everyday spills. It holds its shape under a heavy sofa and shrugs off the small dents that lighter constructions can't recover from.
How it looks
There's a reason grey has been the default neutral of the last decade — it forgives, it cools, and it lets coloured furniture and art read clearly above it. The design holds its proportions at every size we run — the medium and large sizes do not look like enlarged versions of the smaller piece. From the kitchen looking through to the lounge, the rug reads as a single grounding plane rather than a competing pattern.
Built and finished
Underneath the look, woven in Turkey. Turkey remains the place where heritage design and modern weaving meet most comfortably — you get the look of a hand-knotted rug at a fraction of the cost. Polyester yarns hold dye exceptionally well, which is why the colours on this piece look as rich as they do. The 9mm pile sits in the sweet spot for everyday living — soft enough to feel good underfoot, short enough that the vacuum gets right to the base. Pile twist and density together are what give this piece the longevity that the warranty implies.

Questions we get asked
How do I get rid of a stain?
Blot — never rub. Cool water and a small amount of mild detergent on a clean cloth handles most spills. Work from the outside of the stain in. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
How thick is the rug overall?
The total thickness includes the pile plus the backing — for most of our rugs, that ends up somewhere between 8mm and 30mm depending on the pile listed. If you need a precise figure for a door clearance, message us and we'll measure.
Can I steam clean this rug?
Light steam is fine for synthetic pile. Avoid prolonged direct heat in one spot, and let the rug dry completely before walking on it.
Will this rug shed?
No, not in the meaningful sense. Synthetic pile is heat-set rather than spun from short staple fibres, so you may see a small amount of fibre in the first week and very little after that.
Will the rug fade in direct sun?
Some fade is possible if a rug sits in direct, unfiltered sun day after day — that's true of any rug. The dyes used here are UV-stabilised and hold up well to the conditions in most Australian rooms.
