Smooth, carved rugs in graphic, trendforward designs, combining neutral tones with a touch of blue, red and a soft, trendy green. The Aria collection offers supersoft rugs with a contemporary look that matches different styles of interior décor. These supple, low pile rugs with a 100% microset polypropylene pile are stain resistant and non-shedding.
Aria Grey Green is for the customer who wants the result, not the production story.
Living with it
In a real Australian room, picture limestone tiles and soft Dulux Whisper White interiors — that is the kind of room this rug is at home in. For wine, blood, or any pigmented spill, blot quickly with cold water and a mild detergent — the colour will lift before it has time to bond. Lay it once and forget it is there. That is the right frame of mind for a piece like this.
On colour
Grey rugs sit quietly in a room and let the rest of the space do the talking — it's why they outsell almost everything else we carry. The motif is restrained enough to sit under almost any furniture without competing. Photographs flatten the surface; in person, the weave reads with more dimension than any catalogue image can convey.
What's under the surface
In one line: Made in Turkey on power looms. The Turkish weaving industry has refined power-loom production to a point where the result is genuinely close to the look of a traditionally woven rug. Polypropylene yarns take colour exceptionally well — the tones you see in the photo are stable and hold up under daily sun exposure. The 15mm pile gives this rug genuine softness underfoot — particularly good for a bedroom or a sitting room you actually want to sit on the floor in. Construction-wise, this is built to look the same six months in as the day it arrived.
Which size?
Most of our customers go a size larger than their first instinct. Our Rug Size Guide explains why.
Aria Grey Green is the rug our family would buy for our own home — and a few of us have.
Things customers ask
Does this rug ship rolled or folded?
Rolled. We ship every rug in our range rolled and wrapped — folding can leave a crease in the pile that takes a few weeks to settle out, so we avoid it.
Will the pattern repeat be obvious?
Not on this construction. The pattern is woven across the full face of the rug rather than printed, so you won't see the kind of seam-like repetition you sometimes get with a printed surface.
Will the colour look the same as the website photo?
Very close, but never identical — every screen renders colour slightly differently, and the rug itself will read warmer or cooler depending on the light in your room. If you want certainty, message us and we'll send additional photos taken in natural light.
Can I return it if it isn't right?
Yes — we offer a clear returns window because we know a rug needs to be seen in the actual room. The details are on our returns page, and we'll talk you through it if anything is unclear.
Does it work with a robot vacuum?
Yes for low and medium piles. For the deeper shaggies in our range, a robot vacuum will struggle a bit — you'll get better results with a regular upright on a higher setting.
